Learning how to relax is an important part of de-stressing. Exercising is a great way to do this. The main thing to make sure is that it’s kept simple and you enjoy it.

Here are some tips at how you can help to reduce overall stress.

  • Limit your working hours to at most, 10 hours per day, 5 days per week.
  • Keep at least 1.5 days per week free from routine.
  • Use this time to enjoy yourself! Get yourself a hobby, do something creative!
  • Exercise and keep active.
  • Walk as much as you can.
  • Avoid making too many commitments.
  • Learn to accept when a problem is not your responsibility.
  • Talk about things more - ask advice once in a while!

Certian foods and drinks can add to your stress levels it’s best to avoid them altogether.

  • Reduce the amount of processed foods you eat.
  • Reduce your caffeine intake.
  • Eat less refined foods.
  • Limit your alcohol intake and stop smoking.
  • Eat more fresh foods.
  • Eat more fresh fruit and vegetables.
